My Bio
A former Navy engineer and old-school self-trained programmer (wrote my first program in 1984 on an Apple ][, first computer I owned was a Commodore Vic 20) who later went back to school to get his Associate's degree, found a dead job market and ended up in technical support instead. Now rediscovering an old interest and getting into drawing.
Favourite Movies
Pretty much anything action or sci-fi that will make the neighbors wet the bed if I turn the bass up. Plus anything with Liam Neeson or Bruce Willis - just because.
Favourite TV Shows
Crime dramas, especially the geeky ones. CSI and CSI:NY (but not Miami, anymore): I'm looking right at you. Now joining the hordes of people watching Walking Dead.
Favourite Books
I tend to follow series: Dresden Files, Wheel of Time, Song of Ice and Fire, Icewind Dale

Tolkien, George R R Martin, R A Salvatore
Favourite Games
good story-based shooters - Fallout, Borderlands and the like - will occasionally play "twitch" games like CoD but they don't hold me for long
Favourite Gaming Platform
PC - but am starting to like my PS3 now that I know I can use a keyboard and mouse to sub for the controller

Paint Shop Pro 7 I bought in 2002 and MS Paint, pencil sketch then scan and ink digitally in PSP7 - in the process of upgrading to Photoshop X5, Manga Studio 8 and getting a tablet (looking at an Intuos)

Welcome to my gallery. I do not deign to call myself an artist, really. At least, not yet. I am a new student of drawing, to be sure. But whether I could be called an artist I will leave to history, as it is written by those who would observe my work, to judge. What follows is the explanation of why I am here. Read on, if you wish.
